1. About these terms
These terms are the contract between you and the founder of BadForge ("we", "us") for the use of BadForge, an online service that runs automated tasks for your accounts in online games. Our contact details are in the Legal notice.
You agree to these terms when you create your login, by ticking the boxes and confirming. We store which version you agreed to and when. You can read, save and print the current version on this page at any time, and we send you an earlier version on request.
We offer BadForge exclusively to consumers, that is, natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. By using BadForge, you confirm that you use it as a consumer and not for any commercial or professional purpose.
2. Who can use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- Logins are by invitation only. Your login is personal: do not share it or let others use it.
- Keep your password, passkeys and two-step codes safe. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your login.
3. What the service does
The service signs in to the game accounts you add, with the login details you give us, and runs the tasks, schedules, monitoring and piracy functions you set up. It acts only on your instructions and on your behalf.
You decide which accounts are added, which tasks run and when. You are responsible for the tasks you start or schedule and for what they do in the game.
The service depends on games and services run by others. They can change at any time, and a change can stop a function from working until we adapt it.
We may develop the service and change or remove functions where there is a valid reason, such as changes to the games, security, the law, or keeping the service economical. Such changes cost you nothing extra. If a change significantly harms your use of the service, we tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can end the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change; we then refund the purchased credits you have not used.
4. Your game accounts and the rules of the games
BadForge is not made, endorsed or supported by Gameforge or by any other game publisher. Ikariam and other game names are trademarks of their owners.
Game publishers set their own rules. Many games do not allow automated tools, and a publisher may warn, restrict, suspend or delete accounts that it believes use them. Using the service can break the rules of the game you play.
Whether you use the service with a game account is your decision and your responsibility. Before you add an account, read the rules of that game and decide whether you accept the risk.
Only add accounts that you own or that their owner has authorised you to use. By adding an account, you confirm that you are entitled to disclose its login details to us and to authorise us to use them solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Measures that a publisher takes under its own rules are not a fault of the service, and we do not refund credits because of them. We are not liable for losses that result from them, such as lost game progress, items, resources or game currency, except as set out under Liability.
5. Connections, captcha services and other providers
You can use your own connections (proxies) and your own captcha solving service. Your contracts with those providers are between you and them, and their terms and prices apply.
We are not responsible for the availability, quality or costs of services from other providers that you choose.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or for accounts or data that you are not entitled to use;
- use the service to harass, threaten, extort or blackmail other players;
- try to get around limits, prices or security measures, or the separation between users;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or access it in an automated way other than through its own functions;
- resell or rent out the service, or give others access to it, without our written permission;
- abuse invitations, referrals, codes or free credits, for example by using several logins of your own.
If you break these rules, we may stop tasks, block functions or suspend your login, and in serious cases end the contract (see Ending the contract). We tell you why, unless the law or security prevents it.
7. Credits
Credits are how you pay within the service. You buy them with money and spend them on plans and on tasks and functions that have a price.
Credits are not money. They earn no interest, cannot be transferred to another login and cannot be exchanged for money, except where these terms or the law provide for a refund.
Credits you buy do not expire. Credits you receive free of charge, such as starter credits, monthly plan credits, bonus credits, referral rewards and gift codes, may expire; the service shows when. Credits that expire soonest are spent first.
The prices of tasks (in credits per account, or per run and account for a task that repeats an action as many times as you choose) and of daily functions (in credits per day) are listed in Settings → Plan and credits. They can depend on your plan; anything your plan includes costs no credits. The price that applies is the one listed when the task starts or, for a schedule, when each of its runs starts.
When a task starts, the price for every selected account is reserved from your balance. Each account the service has started working on is charged, whatever the result, because the work has been performed; this also applies when you cancel the task afterwards, for example while it waits for its next step. For a task priced per run, each run carried out is charged, at least one per account the service has started working on, and the runs not carried out are returned. Accounts it has not started on are not charged, and where the fault lies with our platform, the reserved credits are returned automatically.
Monitoring and piracy functions are charged per day, at the start of each day they run. A day that has started is not refunded.
If your balance is too low, tasks do not start, schedules pause and daily functions stop until you add credits.
A code can be redeemed once and only until it expires. Keep codes safe: we cannot replace a code that someone else has redeemed.
8. Prices and payment
The prices of credit packs are shown in the service and include VAT where it applies.
You can buy credits with codes, or by paying us directly in a way we agree with you. Credits are added once we have received the payment. If you buy a code from a reseller, your purchase contract for the code is with that reseller.
The prices in credits of tasks, functions and plans are shown in the service, and we may change them. A new price applies to tasks and days that start after the change. We announce price increases in the service at least 14 days in advance; a higher plan price applies only from a plan period that starts after that notice, so you can switch off renewal first.
If a payment is reversed or charged back without good reason, we may take back the credits it bought and suspend your login until the matter is settled.
9. Plans
A plan gives you the functions and limits shown on the Plan and credits page for one month or one year, and may include credits each month. You pay for it with credits.
A plan renews automatically at the end of each period, paid with your credits. You can switch renewal off at any time on the Plan and credits page; the plan then ends at the end of the period you have paid for.
If your credits cannot pay for a renewal, the plan stays usable for a short grace period, which the service shows, and then you move to Pay as you go.
Monthly plan credits are valid until the end of the month they were given for.
When you switch to a higher plan, it starts at once and you get back the credits for the unused part of the current period. A lower plan starts when the current period ends.
10. Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a legal right to withdraw from a contract with us within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is made. Whether you can still use this right depends on what the contract is for:
- Credits: We add credits to your balance immediately. When you buy credits or redeem a code, you expressly agree to this and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the credits have been added. You therefore cannot withdraw from a credit purchase once it is completed.
- Plans: You can withdraw within 14 days of choosing a plan. Because you ask us to start the plan right away, or when your current plan period ends, you pay for the part of the period that has passed when you withdraw, and we return the credits for the rest.
- Tasks and daily functions: These are services that we perform in full when they run, at your request. You cannot withdraw from a task run or a day of a daily function once it has been performed.
How to withdraw
To withdraw, tell us of your decision with a clear statement, for example by email. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your statement before the withdrawal period ends.
What happens when you withdraw
We refund all payments we received from you for the contract you withdraw from, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your statement. We use the same means of payment you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for the refund. For a plan, which you pay for with credits, we return the credits for the unused part of the period.

11. Availability and faults
We work to keep the service available, but we cannot promise that it runs without interruption. Maintenance, updates, faults and changes to the games can make functions unavailable for a while. We announce planned maintenance where we can.
If the service is faulty, you have the rights the law gives you for digital content and digital services. Please tell us about faults so that we can fix them.
12. Your data
Our Privacy policy explains which personal data we process and why. We store your game login details and connection details encrypted and use them only to run what you ask for.
You give us the right to store and process the data that you and your tasks bring into the service, such as reports and game information, as far as this is needed to run the service.
13. Limitation of liability
Our liability for damage, on whatever legal grounds, is limited as follows:
- For slight negligence, we are not liable, unless we breach an essential obligation: an obligation that makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. Even then, we are liable only for the damage that is typical and foreseeable for a contract of this kind.
- Where we provide something free of charge, such as the free plan, starter credits or gift codes, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence.
- We are not liable for measures a game operator takes against your game accounts, such as warnings, restrictions, resets or deletion, or for game progress, items or resources lost as a result, because you choose to use automated tasks at your own risk (see section 4).
- We are not liable for disruptions we did not cause, in particular failures of the internet, the game servers, connections or captcha services (see section 5).
- We are liable for loss of data only to the extent that you could not have avoided it with reasonable precautions of your own.
- These limits also apply to the personal liability of our staff, representatives and the people we work with.
- These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, to claims under product liability law, or where we have given a guarantee. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that mandatory law gives you as a consumer.
14. Claims from others
If someone makes a claim against us because you culpably broke these terms or the law while using the service, for example by adding accounts you were not entitled to use, you must indemnify us against that claim, including the reasonable costs of our legal defence. This does not apply if you are not responsible for the breach.
15. Ending the contract
The contract runs for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by deleting your login under Settings or by telling us. Unused credits are lost when you delete your login, so contact us first if you are owed a refund.
We can end the contract with at least 30 days' notice. We then refund the purchased credits you have not used.
Either side can end the contract at once for good cause. For us, good cause includes serious or repeated breaches of these terms, fraud, chargebacks without good reason, and use that endangers the service, other users or others. Where reasonable, we warn you first. If we end the contract for good cause, we do not refund credits, unless the law requires it.
When the contract ends, we stop all tasks and delete your data as described in the Privacy policy.
16. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as new functions, changes to the law or to court rulings, or changes to the games. We tell you about a change at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or in the service.
A change applies to you only if you agree to it. If you do not agree, you can end the contract free of charge before the change takes effect, and we refund the purchased credits you have not used. Without your agreement, you cannot keep using the service after the change takes effect.
Changes to prices in credits follow the section Prices and payment.
17. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which we are established, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you habitually live.
If you are a consumer, you can bring claims before the courts of the country where you live. If you are a business, the courts at our place of business have jurisdiction.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly.
18. Final provisions
If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest of the terms remain valid. The statutory rules take the place of the invalid provision.
We provide these terms in several languages. If a translation differs from the English version, the version more favourable to you applies.
